Swingin’ Johnsons Rock Robe Booth at LDI 2015

The Swingin’ Johnsons entertained audiences at the Robe stand both Friday and Saturday afternoon at LDI 2015 in Las Vegas, continuing a long tradition of performance at the show. The group closed the show both days, playing material from their ‘Size Matters’ and ‘Everything’s Bigger In Texas’ CDs. Drummer and Robe employee Thommy Hall replaced the screaming females on his drum kit with Robe logos, while LightParts owner and guitarist Robert Mokry rep’d his company colors in a clean LightParts shirt. Guitarist Bruce Jordahl was at the show on behalf of the Calzone/Anvil Case Company, who were celebrating their 40th anniversary at LDI. 4 Wall VP and bass player Scott Church was in fine form wearing little else other than a Tito’s pint bag. Church’s penchant for playing with his teeth caused Bruce to remark that “4 Wall must have one heck of a dental plan!” It was The Johnsons’ first time to play inside the exhibition hall, which was much more dense with smoke and atmospherics than usual. The Swingin’ Johnsons wish to thank all their friends and fans that turned out for the concerts.
